Cedarbrook Camp of Ohio CILT

Dear CILT Applicant,

   We are glad that you are interested in joining our camper in leadership training program here at Camp Cedarbrook of Ohio. CILT is a program that requires a 2 week commitment for 3 consecutive years of camp. It is an intense leadership program that will not only prepare you to become a cabin counselor but also will help you with leadership skills important in the world.

   The steps to become a part of the program are as follows:

            1. Complete the application form

            2. Give 2 reference forms to people who can tell us about your leadership

                        skills, responsibility traits, and spiritual growth (pastor, youth pastor

                        teacher, boss etc. preferably not family relation)

            **these forms must be filled out and received by Cedar (Erika Miller) prior to

June 15^th in order for you to be considered for the program**

   Camp Cedarbrook of Ohio offers this CILT program to young women and men who are interested in growing spiritually, serving others, and increasing their leadership skills. At the end of each 2 weeks of camp, if you have met the requirements and shown appropriate development (you will be evaluated by counselors, activity specialists, and CILT instructors), you will be promoted to the next level of CILT. After 3 successful 2 week training sessions, you will graduate with a special ceremony at a Friday Night campfire. It is a privilege to join the program and an honor to graduate. After graduation, you are expected to stay on staff and counsel throughout the summer.  We are glad you are interested in the program. Please begin preparing your heart for this summer, even now.
